SANTIAGO, Chile — A mudslide fueled by heavy rains swept over a village in southern Chile on Saturday, leaving at the very least 5 folks lifeless and 15 lacking, officers stated.
Rain prompted a river to overflow and the aspect of a hill to break down, burying 20 of the 200 homes in Villa Santa Lucia within the Los Lagos area, positioned 790 miles south of Chile’s capital, Santiago.
