VATICAN CITY — The Vatican has condemned sexual abuse described in a Pennsylvania grand jury report and mentioned Pope Francis is on victims’ facet.
“The abuses described within the report are legal and morally reprehensible,” the Vatican mentioned Thursday in a press release. “These acts had been betrayals of belief that robbed survivors of their dignity and their religion. The Church should study laborious classes from its previous, and there needs to be accountability for each abusers and those that permitted abuse to happen.”
